Utrecht, April 25, 2022 - Brainial, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider based in Utrecht, has appointed Roald Kruit as advisor. This expansion is the direct result of the growing number of customers and the increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) driven software to handle tenders and RFPs in a more efficient and smarter way. In his advisory role, Roald Kruit will mainly focus on go-to-market and product strategy.
Before his appointment at Brainial, Roald was co-founder of the Rotterdam-based software company Mendix, which in sixteen years grew into a global player with a turnover in the millions. Mendix was sold to Siemens in 2018 for 628 million euros. Besides his advisory role for Brainial, Roald is still involved as an advisor for Mendix. "The experience with scaling a software company on a global level makes Roald an ideal advisor for our organisation," said Fedor Klinkenberg, co-founder and director of Brainial.
Roald Kruit: "For many organisations, responding to tenders and RFPs consists of repetitive manual tasks in which a lot of information must be read, analysed and answered in a short period of time. Currently, there is a lack of intelligent software support during this process. The use of AI offers enormous opportunities and makes it possible to realise the next generation of tender management software. I am very much looking forward to working with the talented team at Brainial."
